Richmond, VA artist, wallpaper and textile designer Dandridge “Dede” Davis looks to nature and different cultures when painting her abstracts. She rolls out raw canvas and begins layering paint horizontally: staining the canvas, pouring thinned down medium and adding thickening gels to achieve texture and layers. Enthusiastically, she shares her gift of creating. Her mission is to give hope and joy to others and inspire them to find and share their gift.
